I'm looking at getting into wedding photography. I currently have an xt2 with 56 v1 and the 35 1.4. Also have an x100f so i think should cover most situations? 🙏
Agree completely. 18/56 is amazing. I love my 35 1.4 so much as well as the 90 f2, but for a 2 lens setup 18/55 is perfectly spaced and they are such good lenses….
I have the XT-4 fujifilm camera with the 16-80mm f4. I am very new to photography but it's something I really love to do. I need your advice on two lenses to buy asap. and how could i be better in taking pictures.
Oops!!! How are you? I hope so …. Boy, I started following your content on YouTube and congratulations for the beautiful work….. I wanted your help…. If possible of course…
Here's the thing I'm from Brazil and I've been a wedding photographer for a long time since the 35mm rolls are friends and I'm still out there on the battlefield…. I have always been using nikon and I want and need a lighter, quality equipment and Fuji cameras enchant me mainly for the color science it has …
I'm pretty leaning on an XT4 or XH2s but system change is always complicated and fear hits… but I'm decided…. So I ask you two things….
There are very few wedding photographers who use Fuji around here and as you are a deep connoisseur of Fuji do you think this migration would be worth it?
I currently have two Nikon d4 dslr a lead lol … it's a spare body d700 …
The second one, what would you suggest of lenses that correspond to a 14mm … a 50mm … a 35mm and also an 85mm
I currently work with a 50 1.4 … a 16 2.8 fisheye … a 105 2.8 macro a 70-200 2.8 …. An 85 1.8 is a 14-24 2.8
But it's very heavy equipment that's killing me
Sorry for the long texts… if you can help me with a quick consultation I would be grateful
Good recommendations. If you're on a tighter budget you might consider Viltrox 13mm F1.4 and 85mm F1.8 (Mk. II). I believe you can do a lot of great work with just those two as well.
Nice video. Unfortunately, I respectfully disagree with the point of the 56 vs the 50. I just don't miss AF with the 50 and I own both . The 56 still stays in my kit , but I cannot recommend it for wedding reliability anymore now that I have the 50.
After shooting a couple of weddings I figured this out two – you only need two lenses. My pairing is either the 50 f1 + 23 f1.4 or 50 f1 + 16 1.4. I usually favour the former.
When I started, I personally started with 35mm 1.4 and 85mm 1.4, then got the 70-200mm 2.8 but I still used the 35 and 85 99% of the time. I recently upgraded to mirrorless (and switched to Sony) and I went with 24, 35, 85 and 135 and I won't be getting any more lenses aside from maybe 70-200 just for that 180-200mm reach.
Great video! Would you recommend the Fujinon 16mm 1.4 aswell? Or is the 18mm 1.4 better in your opinion? What about the new Viltrox 13mm 1.4? I already bought the strap from desired leather, great stuff!!! 👍 😀
I have two X-T4 bodies, an 18mm f/1.4 and a 50mm f/1.0 for my wedding photography which is close enough to your set up. I love the 50mm f/1.0 especially for low light and shallow depth images. The 18mm is an awesome and incredibly sharp lens wide open. Both are great for low light and often i prefer not to use a flash as they are so nice at reflecting the low light ambience at a wedding. I also have the 18-55 for video work and group photo. I think Fujifilm creates some of the best bodies and lenses especially for creative images at weddings. I have been a canon R5 and R6 shooter with expensive RF lenses but I’ve recently sold all of this to carry lighter gear and pocketed a whole load of cash.
If that's a Tudor Black Bay on your wrist, you not only have great taste in cameras, but watches too! I'm new to the world of Fujifilm, having just bought the X-T4 with the 16-55m f2.8 lens. Question to anyone reading this, what other lenses should I be considering?
Great video 👍 56mm is a lovely lens but my 50mm f2 is way more contrasty and lighter and f2 is plenty fast and at f1.2 the subject’s eyes are never in focus

for me it's the 18mm f1.4 and 33mm f1.4 so 28 and 50 perfect for me! 🙂

What about an RF 28-70 F2

Is the autofocus of the 56mm v1 quick enough for moving subjects with xt4 or newer?

Something tells me that you must be testing the XH2 already.
This is pretty much my setup too 😂🙏🏼
I bought this strap off of your recommendation and I love it!

That's four lenses. Or did I miss something?

Thanks for the info Chris, Im de ciding between the 56 f1.2 or the viltrox 56mm 1.4. Also, i think if i buy the f1.0 its just to brag lol

Great tips! Thank you.
Nice video bro.. I am also a Fuji shooter.. but mostly video.. 👍
more than then XT-5 …. i am waiting for the X-Pro-4 to be used with 18mm f/1.4
for wider view than my 50 summilux (for M10P)
