I don't think the robes that say bridesmaid is a waste of money. I received one from a wedding I was in a year ago and I still use it around my house lol. Who cares that it says bridesmaid. That what the bride got us and I still use it ☺️🙂. But I know when it's te for my wedding I'll be most likely not be putting bridesmaid on everything.

I am not able to attend anything except for maybe the rehearsal dinner & of course the wedding. Also, do I need to buy a wedding gift as well? First time bridesmaid here!

I really love the robe idea and the bride's maid dresses. I chose the color and allowed them to wear whatever flatters them for the top part. I also like having short dresses and inexpensive so they can wear to cruises or parties. I wanted something they can wear more than once. My own dress is really a Champagne colored evening gown. I got it for the fraction of a price then the traditional wedding styles. My bridal party is having an uneven and it's a small bridal party. It's two bridesmaids' and one groomsman. Instead of pairing them up, you could always having them walk in a straight line woman, man and woman.
Do you have any suggestions on unique locations for a wedding? We decided to have it at the nursing home where the groom's mother is at. She can't move and she has done so much. The nursing home has allowed us to use their gazebo for the event. I really do love all of your ideas! And I agree with you that each bride should wear something that makes them feel good. It's very important to keep a positive atmosphere.
